This one-hour presentation will introduce Artificial Intelligence in plain language for seniors. It will:
- Explain what AI is and where it is used in everyday life
- Show how it can help with tasks like communication, research, writing, and study
- Give practical advice on how to write prompt questions so AI gives more useful answers.
The presentation includes a live look at a few AI platforms, including ChatGPT and Perplexity, so you can learn how to try them safely and confidently. Most of the presentation will be hands-on, with participants using one of the two AI models. You will need to sign up to the free accounts of either Perplexity or ChatGPT for the exercises.
