We have decided to hold our tutor meeting on Monday April 11 ONLINE instead of in person due to COVID concerns (including me testing positive to COVID yesterday). The meeting will be at 4pm to hopefully allow most tutors to attend.
It would be great if all tutors can attend as we would really like to use this meeting to:
1. Develop some team camaraderie among tutors
2. Update you on what is happening in the club
3. Provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about anything including technical issues, administrative procedures, problems teaching any students etc. This is a great opportunity to learn from each other and share experiences so please bring along your questions.
4. It would be great if you can bring one thing to share that you have taught a student this term that may be a bit unusual, or was particularly challenging. It can be amusing (I have a funny story to share), educational, questioning etc - the choice is yours.
5. Explain why we are now strongly encouraging part term tuition for all our members in Term 2, 2022 as this will:
-
give all tutors the opportunity to take leave for part of the term if desired;

allow two new students in your time slot instead of the one student per term in that time slot
-
provide more variety in tutoring for each tutor
-
allow for double the number of students to be taken off our Waitlist and to be tutored in Term 2, 2022
