This one-hour presentation will introduce Artificial Intelligence in plain language for seniors. It will:

Explain what AI is and where it is used in everyday life
Show how it can help with tasks like communication, research, writing, and study
Give practical advice on how to write prompt questions so AI gives more useful answers.

The presentation includes a live look at a few AI platforms, including ChatGPT and Perplexity, so you can learn how to try them safely and confidently. Most of the presentation will be hands-on, with participants using one of the two AI models. You will need to sign up to the free accounts of either Perplexity or ChatGPT for the exercises.
